That’s entirely up to you. You control how much you contribute (if anything) and you decide where to invest your AVCs.

You can make Additional Voluntary Contributions through payroll or directly to the plan. In addition, you decide where to invest your AVCs. You can pick from any of five professionally managed portfolios.
