When can I access my retirement benefits?

If you were born on or before December 31, 1969, you may access your pensions under normal retirement on the first of the month on or after your 60th birthday. However, you can retire earlier. You can access your pensions on the first of any month on or after your 50th birthday given that you are unemployed.

If you were born on or before January 1, 1970, you may access your pensions under normal retirement on the first of the month on or after your 65th birthday. If you elect to retire earlier, you may do so on the first of any month on or after your 55th birthday.

It is also possible to retire after your normal retirement date.
